QBES AND QBO ADVANCED: 200K CUSTOMERS Featured

Intuit has more than 200,000 mid-market customers for its on-premise and desktop financial software, the company said this month. The number was provided this month at the company’s annual Investor’s Day by Alex Chriss, EVP of the small business and self-employed group.

He did not provide more detail other than saying, that Intuit “expects to see that grow”. The product involved are the desktop QuickBooks Enterprise Software and QuickiBooks Online Advanced.

Intuit defines Advanced’s target audience as companies with 10 to 100 employees that have been “overserved” by mid-market software. Intuit formally introduced Advanced a year ago this month, but had been feeding information out in relatively small doses on its Firm of the Future website for months Most recently, Intuit’s Firm of the Future web page has featured a series of three posts on using Advanced for real estate property management.
