Jeff Abbott, long-time leader of Infor’s channel efforts, has become president of Ivanti. His departure from Infor after 11 years one month comes amid notable leadership changes at the software company, including the exits of the chief marketing officer and COO in the last four months.

Abbott’s LinkedIn profile shows he took the new job this month. Ivanti, based near Salt Lake City, Utah, markets software for large corporations to manage their technology systems. Abbott’s departure in December came in the same month as the exit of Infor COO Pam Murphy and follows a change in CEOs in August. For her part, Murphy this month became CEO of Imperva, which makes cybersecurity products. Abbott had held global channel jobs since January 2011 and steadily added new responsibilities. His most recent title was EVP and chief learning officer, Infor partner network and Latin America, which he assumed since February 2017. LinkedIn profiles show a wave of changes starting in August. CMO Ashley Hart left in September after holding the position for one year seven months. LinkedIn profiles show several important job changes in August. Among them, Kevin McMahon was named VP of retail, supply chain and manufacturing portfolio at Infor after serving as GVP cloud North America ERP, EPM & Supply Chain, while Rod Johnson was named head of the Americas and GM. Johnson was EVP manufacturing and supply chain, Nexus business unit, having joined Infor in August 2018. Elliot Smith became VP of alliances in August after nearly four years as senior director of alliances. All three had been senior Oracle executives. There were also key changes in positions in this hemisphere. Aylin Basom became chief customer officer for the Americas in October after serving as VP of operations, Arvindh Balakrishnan, who joined Infor in August 2018, was named SVP, sales strategy and sales support, North America in October.
