PRESIDENT CRUMP LEAVING SAGE Featured

Sage says president and executive director Blair Crump is leaving the company. Today’s announcement reports Crump  will leave his board role of executive director on February 25 and his role as president on March 31. The move was termed a retirement. There was also an uncofirmed report of a freeze on travel.

TThe trading update for the first quarter ended December 31 is on Wednesday, January 22, so it is interesting timing. Crump has been president since August 2016 and assumed the exec director role in January 2018. Resellers have consistently told me how much they like him but he was not someone Sage trotted out for press interviews and I have not talked with him. Sage also says non-executive director, Soni Jiandani, who joined the company in February 2017, is also leaving on February 25.
