Nonprofit reseller JMT Consulting has acquired Axion Business Solutions, based in Austin, Texas. Axion markets cemetery software in Australia and the United States.

Patterson, N.Y.-based JMT said this week the deal expands its ability to serve the death are community. Axion’s products include cemetery management, which can track locations within cemeteries, along with annual care contracts, perpetual care contracts, sales contracts and ownership of the location. Axion was owned by John and Ann Field, who founded the company in 1983. JMT said, when it submitted information for the selection of Bob Scott’s VAR Stars for 2019, it had 42 employees and revenue of $12.4 million.
