SAP RESHUFFLES LEADERSHIP Featured

What’s a change at the top without someone in leadership leaving?  With new co-CEOs in place since October, SAP has established what is termed six primary solutions areas.

And when the music stopped playing two of eight executive board members did not find chairs. Michael Kleiemeier, who led the digital business services area, is leaving the company on April, while Stefan Ries, chief human resources officer, will be gone by the end of May. Digital Business Services are being largely given to Adaire Fox-Marin, who has responsibility for sales, service and related customer success organizations will be bundled in the Customer Success are, and Thomas Saueressig, who is heading product management, development and product support. Juergen Mueller, the company said, “will be responsible for delivering one seamlessly integrated data management solution in addition to managing SAP’s overall platform and technology development as well as intelligent technologies.”  SAP said all cloud business board groups will be integrated in the new model except for Qualtrics, CX Engineering, CX Product Strategy, and major parts of Concur, The primary solution areas are SAP Customer Experience,  S/4HANA, People (SAP SuccessFactors), Intelligent Spend (inclusive of SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, and SAP Concur), HANA & Analytics, and Qualtrics.
