SAGE, EPICOR, AVALARA HANG IN—FOR NOW Featured

Sage, Epicor and Avalara continue with plans to hold their upcoming conferences. The companies said on their web pages this week that they intend to go ahead with the irscheduled events for May.

Of course, that all could change quickly. This is a busy time for conferences and a lousy time for the conference business because of the coronavirus Epicor Insights is scheduled for May 3 through 6 in Nashville, Tenn. Sage Summit is set for May 12 through 14 in Orlando, Fla. Conference sites for the two companies use similar language: that they are continuing to monitor the situation, etc. SAP also is sticking to plans for its Sapphire Now and ASUG annual conference, also May 12 through 14 in Orlando, although it cancelled all March events. Similarly, the website for Avalara Crush, an event planned for May 12 through 14 in St. Louis, Mo., says the company plans to go forward but is monitoring events. Another in the same time frame, QAD’s Explore 2020 is set for May 11 through 14 in Las Vegas, but its website does not address the issue. Also going ahead for the moment is the Microsoft Business Applications Summit from May 3 through May 6 in Dallas, Texas.
