That turns out to be roughly $652 million for the quarter. Microsoft said this week that Dynamics sales increased by 17 percent for the most recently ended period. That compares to the second quarter when Dynamics was up 12 percent over the corresponding quarter a year ago. The only other detail reported was that Dynamics 365 growth was 47 percent. In constant currency, Dynamics revenue was up 20 percent and Dynamics 365 rise by 49 percent. Dynamics is part of the Productivity and Business Process group which had third-quarter revenue of $11.7 billion, an increase of 15 percent from $10.2 billion a year earlier. That’s a difference of $501 million. Now, Microsoft disclosed how much the increase in revenue was for each of three business areas: Office Commercial, Office Consumer and Linkedin. Together, they increased by $1.39 billion. Subtract that from the different in the group increase and what’s leftover is $111 million, which should be the amount by which Dynamics revenue increase unless there is some other product line in the group’s total that was not discussed. Divided that by .17 and you get $652 million for the quarter. which annualizes to $2.6 billion, which seems in line with what we have heard in the past about revenue.
