QBO ADVANCED TOPS 75K CUSTOMERS Featured

Intuit says its QuickBooks Online Advanced application how has more than 75,000 customers. The statistic was reported during the webcast of this week’s Investor’s Day by Alex Chriss, the EVP who runs the company’s small business and self-employed group.

Chriss said QBO Advanced has experienced more than 100 percent year-over-year growth. “We have seen traction in both populations, both upgraders and new to the franchise,” Chriss said. QBO Advanced has been on the market for 18 months.  Designed for companies with 10 to 100 employees, Advanced has an annual cost of $2,000, which Intuit contrasts to higher prices for traditional mid-market prices. At last year’s Investor’s Day Chris said there were more than 200,000 mid-market customers for Advanced and the desktop QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions. So if the 75,000 customers are double a year ago—around 37,500—than there were around 162,500 QBES customers at that point in 2019. Certainly, it was been growth in QBES that has kept desktop sales higher than they would be otherwise.
