Epicor said KBMax software will be offered stand-alone cloud first, low/no code toolset or integrated into the Epicor suite. “The integration of next-gen CPQ tools with our ERP system will enable vital connectivity points to our customers across inventory, costs, pricing, and customer data,” Epicor CEO Steve Murphy said in a prepared statement. The announcement says KBMax has more than 20,000 users. The company’s software offers 3-D visualization through a Visual Configurator. It also features KBMax Snap, a web and touch-enabled visual rule language for developing business and product rules in enterprise software, smart pricing and the ability to automate Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor and PTC Creo 3D models and drawings. Its products are tool for several industries, including manufacturing, biotech, building materials, modular building and heavy equipment.
