QB ENTERPRISE GETS CLOUD ACCESS Featured

Intuit's mid-market desktop product, QuickBooks Enterprise, now has cloud access. The hosting option was introduced this month by Intuit.

It was one of a number of enhancements to the line, including QB Online. However, Intuit did not list any new features for QBO Advanced, the cloud mid-market product. Hosting is provided by Right Networks, which offers unlimited nightly data backups. For those with a Diamond-subscription, hosting is available for an extra fee. The regular price for Enterprise Core features with hosting, which offers 5GB of storage, starts at $1,665 for the first year for the Gold level, which supports 30 users with customer roles and permissions. Core plans top out at 40 users. The Classic edition adds Advanced Inventory and Pricing, among other features, at a regular annual price of $2,035 under the Gold plan, along with 10GB of storage. Storage is provided for up to 50GB, available under the Deluxe plan. Enterprise is available in industry editions for Manufacturing and Wholesale, Contractor and Retail.
