BLACKBAUD PAY BACK TO 2019 LEVELS Featured

Compensation for Blackbaud’s top executives have returned to pre-COVID levels. That included pay for CEO Mike Gianoni, who received $11.8 million for the year ended December 31,  an increase of 10.9 percent from $9.4 million in 2020, but ahead of the $9.4 million in compensation in 2019.

The total came largely from more than $11 million in stock awards, which was the overwhelming source of pay for three other named executives of the nonprofit software company,. CFO Tony Boor received $4.67 million last year, up 21.4 percent from $3.8 million in 2020. The 2021 total was ahead of his $4.4 million for 2019. Kevin Gregoire, president of U.S. Markets, had $3.58 million in 2021 compensation, an increase of 29.3 percent from $2.77 million, and head of $3.14 million for 2019. Chief product officer Kevin McDearis, who became a named executive at beginning of 2021, received $3.3 million for the year with the company not reporting prior compensation. Kevin Mooney, EVP of strategy and business development, was given $3.38 million last year, up 20.2 percent from $2.8 million, and ahead of $3.18 million from 2019,
