Aziz Benmalek has been named the president of Sage North America. The appointment was noted in a Linkedin post by Judy Romano, who has been CFO of Sage North America since August.

She said Benmalek will remain as EVP of partners and alliances. Sage issued an official announcement the day after Romano's comments and added that Benmalek will announced later who will succed him in the channel job. Benmalek was previously shown on the leadership section of Sage’s website as interim president and EVP. The prior North American leader was Nancy Harris, who was EVP and managing director for operations on the continent. She retired in August after 10 years six months with Sage. Harris was similarly interim head of North American operations before being made permanent in that job.
