COLUMBUS CFO LEAVING Featured

Hans Henrik Thrane is resigning as CFO of reseller Columbus as of August 31. He is leaving after 12 years in the position. The company’s board said the departure stems from Columbus’ strategy of becoming a global consultancy.

“Consequently, the Board of Directors in Columbus has decided that this is the right time for Hans Henrik Thrane to leave his position as CFO in Columbus,” he said. The Denmark-based Dynamics VAR has been disposed of a significant amount of operations since former CEO Thomas Honoré left almost two years ago. Much of the change stemmed from continuing losses in the company’s operations in the United States. It sold its private cloud business in and its ToIncrease software operations in January 2021; its Dynamics NAV and AX business in this country in May of this year. Columbus’ actions have resulted in profits in this country for the much-smaller unit in the last two quarters.
