QBO ADVANCED PRICE RISES Featured

 The subscription price for QuickBooks Online Advanced is being raised by 11.1 percent. The price increases across the QBO line come as Intuit has also made significant changes in sales of its desktop QB products.

Advanced is Intuit’s mid-market cloud entry in its widely used accounting product line and its price is increasing to a $200-monthly base from a $180-monthly base for existing customers who pay directly for their subscriptions. The change is effective August 1. The annual base for subscription for Advanced increases to $2,160 from $1,940, up 11.3 percent. In addition, Intuit has ended all discounting of QB desktop products and ended new sales of two desktop payroll products: QB Desktop Assisted Payroll and QB Desktop Enhanced Payroll for Accountants. Also effective August 1is an increase in the monthly base of QBOLPlus to $85 from $80. The price of both the Simple Start and Essentials editions rose by five dollars will Simple Start going to $30 and Essentials to $55 on July. On July 18, increases will be implemented for new subscriptions, upgrades or downgrades. The annual base for subscriptions rise to $915 from $860 for QBO Plus; to $590 from $504 for Essentials; and to $320 from $270 for Simple Start.
