DYNAMICS 2022 WAVE 2 SPELLED OUT Featured

 Microsoft has released details for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, 2022 Wave 2. The new features, which will be released between October and March, were spelled out this month for numerous varieties of Dynamics 365.

On the ERP side, Dynamics 365 Finance will have vendor invoice optical character recognition for read invoices. Microsoft will also integration tax calculation service with 365 Project Operations. Supply Chain Management is featuring new analytics and support for multiple vendors, inventory invisibility, guided warehouse implementation and configuration experiences, along with Planning Optimization for the process industry. Business Central will have new report datasets for Excel and improvements to Power BI reports which now will support dimensions. There will also be new capabilities for low-code development with integration of Power Apps and Power Automate. Users will additionally be able to reverse entries in the payment reconciliation journal, along with several improvements to supply chain functionality. Field Service users will be able build and maintain location and assets for large facilities, optimization improvements on booking lock constraints and may user experience improvements for the mobile app.
