Sage reported a 10-percent increase in revenue for the first quarter ended December 31. The company reported revenue reached about $668 million in its first-quarter trading update.

Sage does not provide earnings figures for its first and third quarters. The growth in organic revenue was 9 percent year-over-year. North American revenue reached about $290.8 million, up 18 percent, 16 organically. Sage pointed to strong growth in Intacct, along with that of cloud-connected products. Sage Business Cloud revenue, overwhelmingly from Intacct, was approximately $482 million, an increase of 31 percent over last year’s corresponding period, rising 28 percent organically. During the webcast, CFO Jonathan Howell responded to an analysist question about a previously announced plan to rise prices this year. “We are executing on that plan of price increase where we see there is a fair value exchange,” Howell said.
