NETSUITE ADDS $100M REVS IN 3Q Featured

NetSuite’s revenue growth slowed a bit in the third quarter ended February 28. But it increased a healthy 23 percent over last year’s corresponding period.

That was up 26 percent in constant currency. The company said NetSuite revenue for the quarter was $700 million. That means NetSuite added $100 million in sales since the ended of the second quarter when Oracle reported them—for the first time—as $600 million. Similarly, Fusion ERP stayed hot with revenue of $600 million for the most recently ended period, rising 25 percent year-over-year, an increase of 28 percent in constant currency. The Fusion total also reflects an increase of $100 million in sales from the second quarter. The company did not report the number of users of the two ERP packages or the number of users added as it had done for past quarters. Those numbers, and statements during earnings webcast by founder Larry Ellison, have been inconsistent. Overall, Oracle reported $1.9 billion in net income, a drop of 18 percent from $2.32 billion, down 13 percent in constant currency. Total revenue was $12.4 billion, an increase of 18 percent, 21 percent in constant currency from $10.51 billion a year earlier.
