WESTERN COMPUTER ACQUIRED Featured

Dynamics reseller Western Computer has been purchased by Evergreen, which has acquired 70 software and services companies since 2017.

Terms were not disclosed. As previously announced, president Linda Collins is retiring on August 1. CEO Tom Bardos, who founded the firm in 1987, was succeeded by Kristen Sage. Western will continue to operate independently within Evergreen’s ERP partner portfolio. In its announcement, Evergreen said, “In Western Computer, Evergreen sees the opportunity to build a significant holding in the Microsoft ERP and CRM ecosystem.” Other resellers the purchaser owns include SAP dealer, Third Wave Business Systems, which it bought in October 2021. Through its Tech-Keys operations, Evergreen purchased Berringer Technology Group, a Dynamics BC and 365 VAR, in May 2020. Western Computer was No. 28 on Bob Scott’s Top 100 VARs for 2023 with $40 million in revenue and a staff of 180. It carries the full range of on-premise and cloud Dynamics EPR packages. Sage was previously director of divisional operations for National Veterinary Associates from December 2021 through last month. Before that, Sage was with McMaster-Carr from August 2018 through December 2021 where she was a manager and supervisor. She was with Deloitte for slightly more than five years as a consultant.
