The software offers the usual kinds of capabilities: inventory management, EDI, order processing, profitability analysis, shipping and receiving, and, you know it if you are interested in distribution. This appears to be a similar effort to one launched late in 2010 by six Dynamics AX VARs who are promoting a package of French origin that is being marketed as Advanced Distribution for Dynamics AX. Their company is called Advanced Distribution Partners. Sheldon Kralstein, CEO of Clients First Business Solutions, one of the participants in the NAV effort, says this organization differs in that it has an OEM relationship with Microsoft. NAV-X has licensed six ISV apps and they are bundled together for a price that is 25 percent than 35 percent less than the list price of the components. The VARs are providing all support. Among other founders of NAV-X are Archerpoint, Aztec Systems, BDO Canada, PKF Texas and Stanley Stuart Yoffee & Hendrix.
