Highly regarded, he was GM of Microsoft Dynamics from May 2011 until joining NetSuite. This is actually Studer's third stint with Oracle. He was employed there from January 1993 through December 1998, becoming senior director of marketing for the former J.D. Edwards from 1998 through 2000 but was back at Oracle from September 2001 through September 2007.

STUDER RETURNS TO ORACLE Featured
After spending a year (officially) at NetSuite, Fred Studer, has returned to Oracle after being away from that software company since September 2007. He has come back to Oracle as SVP of product development. Studer was chief marketing officer at NetSuite from December 2014 through December 2015 when he was forced out. Before that, he worked at Microsoft from September 2007 through December 2014.
