NETSUITE AFTER NEW TYPE VAR?
NetSuite signed four new resellers last month. But they do not look like the typical accounting/ERP channel members and I have asked the company for some clarification about whether this represents a change in recruiting strategy. I think an answer might be coming shortly.
Among the newcomers is Rose Financial Services, a finance and accounting outsourcing firm based in Rockville, Md. This sounds a bit like NetSuite moving into the Intacct space. The latter company has recruited many accounting firms to provide outsourced services. Also in the mix is OSF Global Services, a Quebec-based operation, which provides software development, project management and consulting services to SMBs in the United States, Europe and Asia. Chicago-based Robinson Consulting Group offers outsourced staffing, but also focuses on strategic planning and technology needs assessments, along with other services. Protelo of Folsom, Calif., sounds the most IT-focused with assessment services, product selection, and implementation. The company claims expertise in Salesforce.com, Dynamics and Avalara and CCH (I'm assuming CCH sales and use tax application). What is noticeable is that three of the four have outsourced services.
