While services for the indirect tax software vendor grew 20.2 percent to $91.6 million last year from $76.2 million in 2022, that rate of grow will not continue. “You will continue see a reduced growth rate in services business,” DeStefano said. With the company steering that business to its global alliance partners, it expects services revenue growth in the mid-digits for 2024. Vertex lost $13.1 million for 2023, up 6.5 percent from the $12.3 million loss the prior year. Last year’s revenue of $572.4 million was 16.4-percent higher than in 2022. Cloud revenue of $214.6 million, was 27.1-percent higher year-over-year.
