Microsoft, whose press release rounded the total to 19 percent, said the total was up 17 percent in constant currency. As usual, the driver was Dynamics 365 with revenue growth of 23 percent, 22 percent in constant currency. It is the first time in several quarters the increase in Dynamics was less than 20 percent and the pace is expected to fall to the low to mid-teens in the court quarter. In this week’s earnings webcast, Microsoft had limited comment about Dynamics. CEO Satya Nadella led off his comments talking about Copilot, the company’s chatbot, which has been spread across Microsoft’s software product line. He noted during the quarter, Copilot Service and Copilot for Sales became available and referred to the use of Copilot for Finance to utilize information from Dynamics and other ERP systems such as SAP. Net income for the most recently ended period was $21.9 billion, up 19.9 percent from $18.3 billion. Revenue rose 17 percent to $61.9 billion from $52.9 billion.
