ProdwareProdware, a Dynamics and Sage reseller based in France reported revenue of about $47.9 million for the first quarter ended March 31, an increase of .7 percent over last year's corresponding period. The company said that revenue was up 2.6 percent on a comparable basis; excluding divested operations. The company did not report earnings—that will follow later and I assume this is a French practice as Prodware's usual practice is to release revenue followed later by net income.

Prodware said there was a marked increase in cloud sales. The revenue press release talks about a strong performance in Edition direct sales, which produced around $17 million, an increase of 5.6 over a year ago. The language, however, is not clear concerning which product is meant. [I have an inquiry into PR]. But it represented 35.5 percent of revenue for the most recently reported period, compared to 33.8 percent a year ago. The company said revenue in French-speaking regions was down 2.3 percent because of the rise in cloud subscriptions. However, international sales rose by 3.7 percent because of the company's performance in Spain and Israel.
