NAVUG, the Dynamics NAV user group, has amended its name to reflect the launch of Dynamics Business Central. NAV will be renamed as Dynamics B.C. later this year so the group has become BC has both on-premise and cloud versions and Mark Rhodes, GM for NAVUG, which is part of Dynamic Communities, wrote in a blog post earlier this month, “We will be working very hard to provide insight and education regarding both options.” Noting Microsoft says it is committed to both scenarios, Rhodes adds the user group will have educational offerings for both options and that Microsoft will demo in May at Focus 18—another Dynamic Communities conference—and present a roadmap and discuss changes.
