Columbus has opened a Center of Excellence in Pune, India, to support its Infor M3 partner practice. The Denmark-based reseller and developer said the new facility will complement the current Global Development Center in Hyderabad, India.

There are more than 300 Columbus employees in India and the company says the total will reach nearly 500 by 2020. With 350 consultants, Columbus is the largest M3 partner globally. It picked up the M3 business through the acquisition in January 2018 of Sweden-based iStone. Operations in the subcontinent are headed by Kapil Mishra, managing director of Columbus India. He said the new center will help accelerate growth, in combination with the Hyderabad facility.
