HansaWorld’s pitch for its cloud-based Standard ERP product line is a familiar one. “Our sweet spot is the SMB market. Where we have seen success is with people who are outgrowing QuickBooks, says Swati Desai, the company’s international sales and business development manager and U.S. country manager. The program is also fairly standard—commissions and free training, along with free use of the software. Desai says the company hand holds resellers during the sales process. HansaWorld will perform the first implementation and handhold during the first three. Desai says resellers should be up and running in six months. “It’s pretty easy to learn,” she says. Lead managers are provided and VARs can register leads. “We don’t allow the kind of Microsoft competition where 10 partners are allowed to compete for the same job,” she says. HansaWorld also offer; Standard Accounts for invoice management; Standard CRM and Standard Hotel for the hospitality market. Pricing for a 10-user system is $1,000 per month and $1,500 per month hosting if hosted on the IBM Watson platform. IBM’s fee is “around $400 per month” Desai says. The company's website shows only one North American VAR, which has offices in Canada and Texas, although Desai said there are now severalin Canda. It has many VARs in the Nordic and Baltic regions and 14 in the United Kingdom.
