SAP REVS UP, PROFIT DOWN

SAP was long on superlatives as it reported results for the quarter ended September 30. But it came up a little short of the profit end. Otherwise, the period was described by co-CEO William McDermott as the company's best third quarter ever and one in which it reported software revenue of more than one billion euros.
