SAGE REVVING UP PAYMENTS BIZ

Sage spent a lot of money in 2006 to buy the operation that is now its payment processingGreg Hammermaster, Sage division. So far, it's not had a big impact. But the company has renewed its effort to make payment processing a pervasive part of its product lines. At this month's Sage Summit, CEO Sue Swenson said one problem was the levels at which planning and implementation had to take place weren't talking to each other.
