Avalara looks like it’s going to have a busy year. It started out 2013 with the announcement of its London office as part of its move into Europe. It followed this week with its purchase of UPC Matrix Master from TaxMatrix. The acquisition of database from the Harrisburg, Pa.-based company gives Avalara a big resource for serving the retail market.
