COURT OKAYS $250M CDC SHARE SALE

A bankruptcy court has approved the sale of shares of CDC Software stock for just under $250 million to a Cayman Islands-based firm. The deal would also give the company enough funds to pay $65 million to funds that have sued the organization over a convertible debt issue. CDC Software owns the Ross Systems and Pivotal lines and during a complex series of corporate maneuvers had tried to sell Ross and Tradebeam, a move blocked by the court.
