Epicor Software, whose Version 9 seems to be one of the hottest products in the financial software market, has come out with what it calls a major new release, 9.05. Since 9's release  late in 2008, the company said it has 140 live customers with 35,000 seats, and as noted in the last newsletter issue, there are reports Epicor is showing up competitively in a way it hasn't in a long time.
