QLIK DEBUTS DATA LITERACY 2.0 Featured

Qlik has introduced Data Literacy 2.0, that is designed to help companies quickly start a data literacy program. The analytical software company says version 2.0 enables organizations to start with a investment and then scale it cross the workforce.

“It is designed to take individuals from data novice to data fluent; where they can confidently interpret and work with data and help drive best practices in data-driven decision-making across their organization,” the company said in its prepared statement. The program includes launch services that provide best practice and hands-on support for companies, along with a methodology for starting and scaling data literacy across the business.  There are instructor-led classes and skills tracking that features sata literacy assessments, certifications, and dashboards. Employees can achieve accreditation in data literacy by passing a 2.5-hour exam. In addition, a community portal provide an online forum for collaboration. Also, 20 online self-service data literacy courses and supporting resources help employees learn on their own time. There are free ‘Data Fundamentals’ courses including modules on Introduction to Data Literacy and Data Informed Decision Making for those just starting and paid courses that start at $250 per student for more advanced students with modules such as Foundational Analytics and Advanced Analytics.
