Goodarzi said the plans alls for “disrupting the mid-market, by developing a full marketing automation, CRM and eCommerce suite for mid-market customers at an attractive price point." The software company also reported strong growth for Advanced and growth in “high single digits” for QuickBooks Enterprise, the desk-top entry for mid-market accounting software, Advanced grew to 118,000 customers in fiscal 2021, an increase of 57 percent year-over-year. Numbers were not reported for the lastest quarter. Sasan also said Advanced its producing “a services ecosystem ARPC that is four times higher than ARPC for QBO customers.” QuickBooks desktop products, including Enterprise, continued to grow. The category had $267 million for the most recently ended period, an increase of 10.8 percent from a year ago. In prior quarters, Intuit has attributed desktop growth to QB Enterprise. During the webcast, Goodarzi said the increase for QBE was “driven by strong customer growth and price increases we put in place late last year.”

Intuit plans to develop a CRM package for the tid-market, which goes along with a push in the space with QuickBooks Online Advanced. The broad outlines of the plan was given by CEO Sasan Goodarzi during this week’s webcast for earnings for the first quarter ended October 30.
