Earlier this month,  Sage said it wasrel easing the manufacturing software first in France, but the initial publicity said nothing about the plans for specific countries and the handling of news about availability of what was clearly meant to be a world-wide product has been low-key and puzzling. . However, the France intro has been different from other Intacct roll outs which have gone first to English-speaking countries. Harris also noted plans to launched Sage Intacct Planning into “all the geographies Intacct Financials is already in”.  That would add Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom to the list. For the French roll out announcement, Sage said Intacct Manufacturing will complement the more complex capabilities of the process manufacturing-oriented and hosted X-3, while the cloud-native Intacct Manufacutrring application designed for discrete manufacturers. France was the home of Adonix, the company Sage acquired in 2005 and developed as X-3.
