 Users of Exact Online can now use a mobile app to make payments.

Previously, payments could be made only via the web application, but that has changed with the winter release of Exact’s software. The former AR management add-on is now a standard feature in Exact Online. Exact Online is also introducing Office Management Essentials for interactions between accountants and their customers. Essentials can also be integrated with Microsoft SharePoint Online. Exact said later this year it will launch a Plus edition, which it said, “puts users in full control of their activity planning and progress monitoring.” For those users working with multiple entities, the current account feature for purchase and general journal entries has been expanded and users can also reconcile outstanding items for the relevant company directly via the bank or in cash.
