Simon Riley, Crowe HorwathCrowe Horwath has introduced a suite of Dynamics AX apps. The suite comes when Microsoft is pushing Dynamics 365, the cloud version of AX without a clear migration path for the installed base. That lack of migration path has stirred a lot of conversation among users and slowed down buying cloud decisions, according to resellers.

The firm's press release politely references this situation "Microsoft continues to push the envelope on business productivity with its Dynamics 365 platform, and our new apps help Dynamics users maximize the platform's innovative benefits," Crowe principal Simon Riley said in prepared statement. The new applications include a leased asset calculator, batch process manager, financial close workbench, notes optimizer and journal optimizer.
