SERENIC ABSORBS BELLAMY Featured

SERENIC Serenic Software has combined with its sister company Bellamy Software. Both units, which target the nonprofit market, are owned by Sylogist, a publicly held Canadian business. Operating as Serenic, the company is incorporating Bellamy's Analytics, Budgeting, Asset Management, Revenue and Operating modules into the Serenic Navigator line.

Bellamy's focus has been on providing financial applications for midsize public sector organizations and educational institutions in Canada. Serenic said the combination will add 10 individuals to its staff, along with 53 customers. Headquartered in Lakewood, Colo., Serenic will continue to operate offices in the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Alberta. Sylogist purchased the desktop Serenic Navigator line from the publicly held Serenic Corp in 2014. There was somewhat complex chain of events regarding the companies after that, which would take too much time to explain.
