Sage told British media that her duties would be held on an interim basis by Alan Laing who runs the global alliance and partners program. When de Rojas was hired, Sage described her as "the most influential woman in the UK tech industry" and the company was saying at the beginning of the week she would host the first Sage Summit in the United Kingdom." De Rojas is reported to be leaving next week. Laing will continue to run the channel program assisted by Michael de Jongh, VP of the global ISV and developer program, who will take up a deputy role during the interim period.

Sage has confirmed that Jacqueline de Rojas, managing director of Sage U.K., Ireland and Northern Europe, is leaving the company. That comes on the heels of the move by global chief marketing officer Santiago Solanas to Cisco this month. While Solanas was a 10-year employee of the software company, de Rojas had taken her position only in July.
