The user groups are supported by Dynamics Communities. The Dynamics 365 User Group is part of both the overall AXUG and CRMUG. The change is being made as the online Dynamics 365 continues to expand. AXUG was involved in the formation of D365UG, says Grant Wilson, chairman of the AXUG board of advisors. "The AXUG community remains committed to providing education and networking opportunities, both virtually and in-person, for all versions of AX, so you can make the most of your current implementation," he said.

The Dynamics AX User Group is being extended to incorporate users of Dynamics 365 for Operations. Similarly, the sister CRM User Group is being extended to include Dynamics 365 for Sales, Dynamics 365 for Marketing, Dynamics 365 for Customer Service, Dynamics 365 for Field Service and Dynamics 365 for Project Service.
