Derek Ochs, MacolaExact has introduced Macola 10.5 at its Evolve 2017 conference this week. New features include "tablet-led" interfaces, described as responsive design techniques that automatically format the way the software is displayed to fit the device being used.

"In any given day, our customers may be on the shop or warehouse floor managing operations, out of the office visiting customers or suppliers, or sourcing new materials," Derek Ochs, director of development, said in a prepared statement. "The latest update to our ERP and business software is focused on empowering users to more efficiently and seamlessly access the information they need to do their jobs, wherever they are at the time." The software company added real-time synchronization for data and provide type-ahead search features, infinite scrolling and sortable table columns, The company also display technology created in its relatively new Macola labs, including a facial recognition application.
