FINANCIALFORCE PUSHING CHANNEL Featured

Fred Studer, FinancialForceFinancialForce is a readying an effort to give its nascent channel more visibility. For one, the cloud company has invited me to its CommunityLive 2017 conference mid-June in Las Vegas. Also the hiring of Fred Studer in March as chief marketing officer suggests that since he was been involved with organizations with active channels.

You may recall those are the Dynamics business and NetSuite. And besides, I asked and was told the channel will receive more attention. The only company in Bob Scott's Top 100  to list FinancialForce of its product line is BDO Solutions of Canada, last year, but not this year. The San Francisco, Calif.-based vendor has been making more noise over the last two years as it ramped up its executive ranks. My other measurement of when Financialforce started to receive attention was when it got under the skin of former NetSuite CEO Zach Nelson. Nelson who usually hammered competitors with a sense of humor. But he erupted at a SuiteWorld in 2015, after FinancialForce termed NetSuite's offering "Frankencloud", accusing the competitor of lying. Generally, vendors that are not a threat are ignored, not attacked.
