QUICKBOOKS PAYMENT SPEEDS UP Featured

Jimena Almendares, IntuitIntuit has revamped its GoPayment process. The new QuickBooks payments strategy is designed to make it easier for small businesses to send invoices their customers can pay online.

And the we-get-more-miles-the-gallon claim centers on the following from Jimena Almendares, the software company's VP of payments. "With today's announcement, QuickBooks is the only platform where a small business can have an invoice paid on Friday and make payroll with that money the same day," says Almendares. Intuit says it has reduced signups to a process involving three clicks and one minute for a new QB customer to send a pay-enabled invoice. Once payment accounts are set up, QB purchases can utilize a "Pay Now" link for sending invoices, giving customers the ability to pay online via credit cards or free bank transfers. The ability to use PayPal and Apple Pay is coming soon. Another feature is smart invoicing so businesses can know where their invoices are in the process. Intuit also said those with Gmail accounts can use Go Payment whether they are QB customers or not.
