AVALARA EXEC MOVES TO YAYPAY Featured

Patrick Falle, YayPayPatrick Falle, a founding investor in Avalara, has joined YayPay as chief revenue officer. YayPay, which makes accounts receivable management products, raised $5.3 million in capital in September.

"There are some current companies doing AR management, but just like the tax space the overwhelming competitor is still manual effort," says Falle, who started with sales and use tax vendor Avalara with its founding in 2004. "Our biggest competition by far is Excel." Falle described the YayPay system as "as much a CRM system for an AR person as it is a straight AR module." The system offers contacts, e-mail tracking and notifications, which can be managed directly from an administration console. The system offers workflows to automate AR jobs. "At some point it will also tie into credit stats and give you very clear information on who owes you money with analytics that will clearly tell you when or if you will get paid," Falle says. Falle served as SVP of strategic alliances and more recently also as global chief evangelist for Avalara. YayPay was founded by CEO Anthony Venus and Eugene Vyborov, its chief technology officer.
