She was previously CMO for ChannelAdvisor from May 2016 until last month. Before that, Sargeant, served as VP of marketing at Avalara from October 2014 through May 2016. The company cited the hiring as part of an activity spurt following August’s announcement of an investment from Accel-KKR. The size of the investment was not disclosed other than being called, a “a strategic and significant investment.”
