This company is one of the best VARs not associated with a CPA firm that Intacct has recruited. In 2010, it was named to Sage’s Chairman’s Club, President’s Circle and Million Dollar Club. It also resells Infor products. Aktion’s portfolio includes a wide range of hardware, networking and infrastructure products and operating systems including those from Microsoft and an array of Linux and open source offerings. Intacct and NetSuite seem to be running on parallel courses as both are recruiting CPA firms to extend their platforms. NetSuite picked up Baker Tilly Virchow Kraus for that end and Intacct has Fargo, N.D.-based Eide Bailly on board for the same purpose. (Eide Bailly resells both product lines). Intacct is also moving the other way as late in February, the NDH Group, a Chicago-based firm that was using Intacct to provide outsourced financial services, got into the game as a VAR.
