Avalara has named Simon Kelly as VP of sales for its EMEA business. Based in the United Kingdom, he worked at LinkedIn from June 2008 through December 2016 where he was sales leader.

More recently he was an on-demand chief revenue officer from September 2017 through November 2019. International expansion is one of the major goals of the sales tax software company. Avalara, which had $272.1 million in revenue for the year ended Dec. 31, 2018, says its goal is $1 billion in revenue.
