INFOR COO LEAVES JOB Featured

Infor COO Pam Murphy has left the software company as of December 31. The announcement, filed with the SEC, gave the usual pursuing other opportunities “which are not competitive with the Company’s business” as the reason.

Sigh. What the change does is complete the departure of leaders who came to Infor from Oracle with former CEO Charles Phillips in December 2010.  Phillips became chairman in August with CFO Kevin Samuelson taking over the top job. Murphy’s decision is hardly surprising in the world of leadership transition. The other two members of the Phillips leadership team, former co-presidents Duncan Angove and Stephen Scholl left the company in 2017. Samuelson served under Phillips during two periods. He was with Infor from 2002 through 2013 and was CFO from 2011 through 2013. He rejoined Infor as CFO in July 2016 after CFO stints with two .com organizations.
