ALITHYA BUYS ASKIDA Featured

The Alithya Group, which acquired the former Edgewater Technology in 2018, has purchased the Askida group of companies this month. The deal is valued at about $12 million and will be paid in Class A voting shares and cash.

Askida specializes in software quality assurance and application development and modernization. Operating in Quebec and Ontario, Askida employs about 110 individuals. Askida, whose revenue was about $9.8 million for 2019, markets Askida CT, which can test software from end-to-end using continuous testing in a DevOps process. Alithya CEO Paul Raymond said the addition of Askida’s software will enable his company to develop new market.
