NET AT WORK BUYS SAGE RESELLER Featured

Net at Work has acquired Planet Earth Projects, a Sage reseller bfounded in May 1996. It is the latest in a series of acquisition by the New York-based reseller.

Terms were not disclosed. Planet Earth, based in Kent, Conn., was a member of the Net at Work Alliance, which currently numbers more than 200 VARs. Net at Work co-president Alex Solomon say there will more purchases of smaller resellers. He  also notes that the Alliance was helped when Sage ended its short-llved Advocate program in which Net at Work and six other larger VARs, served as umbrella organizations for the smaller VARs. Planet Earth  carried. Sage 300, CRM and MiSys software. Planet Earth’s Jonathon Luning and Pamela Frost will join Net at Work’s Sage 300 team in senior consulting and development roles,  Luning, who was president of the company, was a founder. Frost joined as a VP in Ma 1996.
